I graduated with a BA from Barnard College, Columbia University in May of 2003.
Instead of taking the LSATs, I applied for a Fulbright scholarship and PhD programs in Latin American History.
To make a long story short, I received a Fulbright to continue my oral history project on the Jewish Community of El Salvador. Funded for approximately 10 months, I will be one of three Fulbright scholars in El Salvador in 2005-2006.
In January 2008, I received my M.A. in Latin American History with an interest in Central American Religious minorities, specifically Jews, Palestinian Christians, and Mormons.
Taking a break from doctoral studies, I decided to do an intensive course in radio documentary at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine.
Since 2008, I have worked as a producer on WBUR's Radio Boston program. I continue to do freelance radio work for outlets such as the BBC, PRI, and NPR.
